Independent and unofficial
Yield Strategy is an independent memecoin experiment. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by Yield Fields, PONS, Robinhood or OpenSea. Yield Fields names and artwork belong to their owners and appear here only to identify the game and its NFTs.
Not an investment
$YSTR is not a share, a deposit or a claim on the vault's assets, and nothing promises a profit. Buybacks reduce the supply; they do not guarantee a price or a buyer. The vault's value is shown as data, never as a guaranteed floor. Tokens and NFTs can lose all their value.
Nothing on this site is financial, legal or tax advice. You are responsible for following the laws where you live.
Who controls the contracts
Governance is the team's Safe with a single signer: one key. With the default settings it can change parameters, replace modules and upgrade the vault core at once, without advance notice. A separate guardian wallet can pause some modules for up to 7 days. Every change is public on chain.
No function lets anyone withdraw the vault's assets: they leave only to buy Land, pay for game actions, reward the public calls and buy back $YSTR. Because the core can be upgraded, governance could also move the assets to new contracts in an emergency, for example after a bug. All of this relies on trust in that key.
Outside systems
Yield Fields can upgrade or pause its contracts, change the game's rules and decide which contracts may hold or move Land; the vault's Land is staked in the game's own contract. PONS runs the launch and the fees and can propose a new fee recipient. Trades on other pools pay no strategy fee. OpenSea, liquidity pools and Robinhood Chain have their own rules and availability: actions wait or fail when their conditions are not met.
Fees, royalties, gas, slippage and thin liquidity can materially reduce the assets available to the strategy.
Good to know
- A sale of Land directly to the vault pays no creator royalty; the vault's purchases and sales through OpenSea do pay it.
- The team puts no capital into the vault, which runs on token fees only. The developer buy is made by other people after the launch.
- The strategy runs in phases. In phase 1 there is no buyback: 10% of the fees is held for seeds and the Fertilizer stays in the game. Governance can change the split and turn the buyback on with a public change.
- If the vault's Land stops producing for the set time, the strategy winds down by itself and for good: it sells its Land, and the proceeds buy back and burn $YSTR.
- Outside a wind-down the vault sells no Land at launch. Governance may later add a sale module with a public change: it could sell Land only above the price the vault paid, and the proceeds buy back and burn $YSTR.
Code has limits
Smart contracts and the operator can contain bugs. Reviews and audits cannot guarantee error-free software or the future behaviour of outside services. Public data can be delayed or unavailable, and planned actions are separate from confirmed transactions.
